Master class meeting in Dubai

Master class meeting in Dubai
Zimmer institute is a well-recognized institute for Continuing Medical Education. They normally run courses all across the world covering multiple aspects of knee surgery. These Master classes are designed basically for senior surgeons to familiarize them with the revision surgery. Revision surgery is usually much more difficult and demanding than a primary Total Knee Replacement and the science of it has been improving all the time where new instrumentations are offered to surgeons so that they can do a successful surgery. The Master Class is an interactive course where the number of candidates are usually limited to 50 surgeons. Those surgeons are mostly senior surgeons and BHAS and Dr. Tarabichi has chaired this meeting in many countries including Dubai.

This year we had delegates coming to the meeting from multiple parts of the world including Russia, Iran, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Eastern Europe etc. During the course a live revision surgery was performed by Dr. Tarabichi . the revision surgery was done for a patient who had surgery in Thailand which failed and he had severe pain and stiffness in the knee. The knee was revised and the latest instrumentation as demonstrated to the other delegates and the surgery  was a successful one. The feedback from the meeting was quite great and favorable from the delegates. BHAS has also participated in many educational activities on multiple levels. We run normally an ICJR meeting which is held under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Mohammed. We are also involved with the Philips company for training of technicians in MRI. Our commitment to Continuing Medical Education for health professionals including nurses and doctors will continue in order to help in the progress of medical services in Dubai.
