FORMER CRICKETER, PAUL MCMAHON SUCCESSFULLY TREATED BY DR. JUSSI RANTANEN AT BURJEEL HOSPITAL FOR ADVANCED SURGERY IN DUBAI
Paul McMahon, a cricketer, was recently admitted to Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery in Dubai. Paul McMahon has played cricket professionally for Nottinghamshire in the past and has been playing semi-professional cricket since 2009. He sustained an anterior cruciate ligament rupture during a football match held in Dubai and was recommended surgery to fix his injury and help him regain full function of his knee so he could resume playing cricket and other sports. The surgery, which involved a hamstring graft to replace the damaged ligament was performed at Burjeel Hospital by McMahon’s doctor, Dr. Jussi Rantanen, MD, PhD, Associate Professor Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery. The surgery was a success and McMahon is recuperating well. He expressed great satisfaction at the quality of care and attention given to him by the staff at Burjeel. He was particularly impressed with the skilled staff at the hospital as well as its state-of-the-art facilities.
