The Holy Month of Ramadan falls on the ninth month in the Islamic Lunar calender and is considered a time for reflection, reconciliation and charity. It's observed by Muslims around the world, when they fast from sunrise until sunset. The fast is broken with iftar at sunset, and preceded with a pre-dawn meal called suhoor. With Ramadan falling at the peak of summer this year, Dubai will be experiencing long daylight and therefore fasting hours. So how do you prepare the body for 30 days of fasting?
